This is a page where I (Andy) tell what I liked and disliked about
the last episode of Red Dwarf. You can email

Episode Summary: While checking out
a lifeless vessel, the crew find a female human body encased in ice and
emitting very faint life signs.
My Thoughts on this episode...
'Epideme' was a good episode with a lot of drama and average
comedy. It was kind of interesting with everyone getting their arm
cut off. Also, the Epideme virus is really innoing. (On a personal
note, don't you think that the epideme virus' voice sounded like Cat?)

Funny Things
Lister -- Kryten

Kryten
When Kris says that her knowledge makes her special,
and all the other crew members a stupid, low-life, morons. Kryten
protests (he graduated from toilet college) and shows his knowledge by
giving facts about the john that no one in the right mind would know!

When Caroline is molesting Lister (he thinking she
is Kochansky) makes noise. Kryten hears and comes to search Dave's
quarters. While Kris (actually Caroline) hides in the shower, Kryten
comes in for a 'emergency dust.'
.
When Kryten can't find Lister's lover, he complains,
"You promised you wouldn't like her better than me! It's because
she has a better shaped head than me-isn't it?!
.
When Lister is determined to kill the Epideme virus
once and for all, Kris warns him not to leave the air lock. At the
last moment she yells, "Dave Lister if you go through that door, I'll never
talk to you again!" Dave goes anyway. Wishing she wouldn't
have done that, Kris says, "How stupid am I???" Kryten responds,
but is interrupted, "According to my calculations..."

When Lister wakes up, Kris gives him a welcoming
kiss on his forehead. Then Kryten quickly squirts some disinfectant
spray on Lister's head and whips it with a clothe. He explains, "Germs."
Lister
While the crew is observing the lifeless vessel,
Lister lets out a yelp and freaks out his fellow crew mates. It turns
out that his was just hit with a freezing cold water droplet. It
was painful because it got in to his 'crevasses.'
Cat
When Kris cuts off her hand (actually a fake hand)
Cat faints!
Kris
After Kryten leaves, Lister starts to unbutton Kochansky's
shirt. Disgusted, Kris smacks him, knocking him over.
Best Role
This weeks best role goes to...Lister! I mean,
willing to give up your life to safe people in the future, I'd say that
deserves some congratulating! Great job, Lister on your second nomination

Good episode with great comedy and drama.
