Hello. My name is Matt. I'm 15 years old, in 9th grade, and a nerd.
Many mock my love for all computers, and other nerdy characteristics.
I like to program in all sorts of BASIC including VisualBASIC and QBASIC.
I am learning C++ and have used the Palace programming language,
Iptscrae. Some of my favorite games on the computer are:
StarCraft,
Tribes 2,
Subspace, and
JezzBall. I also like chatting on
The Palace
(which, unfortunately, is not supported by the company anymore).
But I'm not just on the computer ALL day.
I also like soccer, baseball, TV, cycling, trivia, and pizza.
I dislike my younger sister, N'SYNC, AOL, Dr.Pepper, Pokemon(?), people who make stereotypes about nerds,
and, did I mention how much I dislike my sister? Some of my friends are
Lance, Andy, Nick, Steve, Lucas, Kyle, Peter, James, Brady (hmm...I'll reconsider that...),
oh, there's more, but not enough hard drive space.
My favorite songs are too numerous to count, but I generally like Oldies (1955-1972), Classic Rock (1972-1984), and a few exceptions.
My dad and I like to ride our bikes during the summer.
We've gone along the whole Cedar Valley Nature Trail, Vets Memorial Stadium, and a variety of other places.
In 1998, I learned a lot of HTML.
Before I knew HTML, I just copied it from
Webford 2.01,
then edited it. Then, I learned more and I knew how most of it worked.
In late August 1999, I began working with Andy on the
Franklin Middle School Website.
This was probably the only place a large number of people went to at all that has been, in part, created and edited by me,
a big acomplishment. I was a part of Mock Trial, Newspaper, Soccer, Math Counts, Track and Field, and band.
